The AMF is adding fresh content to its Vintage Motorcycle Library (VinMoLi). This past July, the AMF held a scanfest at the AMCA National Meet at Wauseon. Several attendees contributed new items that span from 1915 to the 1986. About 30 new items were acquired and they may be found in the library at https://library.amf.foundation/, after several hours of cataloging needed to make the items searchable.
In addition, the AMF is pleased to welcome back prior board member and past president Jon Radermacher as a volunteer to continue cataloging items donated the library by donors who want to see the library grow. Special thanks go out to AMCA member Bill Mock, who has been driving around Michigan scanning old manuals, parts catalogs and more in an effort to grow the library. We can’t thank Bill enough for the time and dedication he is giving to the library.
Finally, we’d like to thank everyone who has lent the AMF items to be scanned and incorporated into the library, which is one of the core functions of the foundation. The AMF firmly believes that preserving this information and making it publicly available is paramount in sustaining antique and vintage motorcycling. If you have any questions about the library, or would like to donate scanned materials, please email Jon Radermacher at librarian@amf.foundation.
